Snow falling from the sky,
Piling up, in soft, sweeping drifts.
Finally it stops,
A calm sweeps across the world.

The snow lies untouched,
Nothing can be seen except for the
endless white that lies across the land.
As the sun shines upon it,
The snow sparkles as if it were
Diamonds strewn across the ground.

Eventually there are shouts of laughter
As children emerge from their homes
And into the white.
The stillness shattered,
And the snow less beautiful,
The children, with their rosy cheeks
And starry eyes go inside.

The snow starts to fall again,
Filling in the dents left by the world.
The stillness returns,
And the endless white can be seen again.

Metamorphosis

Look, the snow is turning green!
No, it’s only becoming spring.
It couldn’t be; It’s not right
It was freezing just last night.
I’m definitely not looking forward to mowing.

Melting Snow

It once was a quite snowy day;
We thought it was sure here to stay.
The next day was warm,
All gone was the storm,
So now all the snow’s gone away.

The Old Man

I hate my job
I hate my life
I’m in financial trouble thanks to my ex-wife.

I have arthåritis
I have back pains
My car gets rusty when it rains.

My blood sugar is high
It’s like my cholesterol
My grown-up children never call.

I’m scared of rap
I’m scared of rock
My young punk neighbor plays it around the clock.

Bessy

There once was a nice girl named Bessy
Whose room was never ever messy.
Then her brother came in
With toys from a bin,
And said “I’ll mess up your room for you Bessy!”

Old Silly Willy

There once was an old man named Willy
Who always was really quite silly.
He loved to tell jokes
To all of the folks,
So his friends called him old Silly Willy.

Zoo Trouble

There were salamanders everywhere,
The ground was filled with poo,

Everyone was going nuts,
They didn’t know what to do!

The tigers bit the elephants,
The monkeys ate the stew!

The rhinos started charging,
Straight toward You!

Then finally the zookeepers
Put the animals in their pens.

But they couldn’t catch the roosters,
Nor could they catch the hens!

Percherons

The biggest of the horses,
And prettiest it’s true,
It’s bigger than a clydesdale,
Its back is bigger than you.

They are very sweet,
And good natured too,
But one thing I should tell you,
It’s very important too,
If you’re standing in a big shadow,
I’d move if I were you.

Kips and Pips

There once was a dolphin named Kips,
He spent all his time with bro Pips,
They swam through the ocean
With beautiful motion
And did lots of cool jumps and flips.

Pigs

Pigs are cool
Pigs are fun,
Pigs are for every one.

Pigs have tails,
Pigs have ears,
Pigs have eys just like you.

Pigs get dirty,
All around,
Pigs are happy,
Inside and out.

“Love”
for my mother

Oh, love is like a rainbow,
a wonderful and joyous thing.

Love is quite beautiful,
it inspires songs we sing.

Like a rainbow, love can seem to disappear,
but also like a rainbow love is always there, sometimes hidden.

You see, rainbows never really disappear,
there always there, waiting to appear.

One only has to look,
and many rainbows will appear!

The Dusk

The sun has fallen
The moon will soon rise and shine
The day is over
