Students visit local seniors
Last year, Peacock students were trained to visit the Arbor Nursing Facility in Itasca. There hasn't been a training session yet this year, but several students have been back to visit with the senior citizens who live there.

Eighth graders need to take a stand
Over the past three years, there have been several incidents in which the entire class of 2000 was punished after a few students were disruptive. We are fed up with this kind of bad behavior.

Peacock students look forward to the millennium
An informal survey of students at Peacock indicates that most of them do not think anything serious will happen with the coming of the year 2000, or that there will be dangerous Y2K computer problems.
